“She’s gone and left me, on my own…..a tender woman, made of stone”
This song is dedicated to those in our community who have to remain completely alone by themselves during the current crisis.
I fully support the difficult decision that our Prime Minister had to make, but let us all spare a thought for those who may find it hard to cope with the loneliness.
On the surface this is a song about lost love but the title is also an allusion to Mother Earth and how we can fool ourselves into believing that we control her.
When we upset the laws of nature, the planet has surprising ways of restoring equilibrium.
Now we need to act in ways that respect the ecosystem and demonstrate compassion for our fellow beings.
The sun will still rise tomorrow.
